This week, the children have been learning through lots of exciting, space-themed activities!

The pre-school children wrote the letters of their names and placed them in the correct order to create space rockets. They added stars and galaxies around their names with shiny sprinkles of confetti. We spoke about space and rockets landing on the moon. The children also mentioned gravity and how different space is to our planet. The children loved using their imaginations and had lots of fun taking part.

The babies love messy play so we decided to make moon sand today using cornflour, glitter and oil. The explorers explored the moon sand with their hands and some cutters of stars and the moon. The explorers sprinkled it in the air and watched as it fell down. This activity is great for sensory exploration.
