A day in our Baby Room starts calmly and gently. As babies arrive, we help them settle in comfortably by washing little hands, hanging up coats and offering breakfast if they would like it. We take time with each child so they feel relaxed, safe and ready for the day ahead.

We follow a consistent daily routine, with set meal times to create familiarity and a sense of security. Babies are offered breakfast, lunch and snacks throughout the day, tea is also provided. The number and type of meals offered depends on each child’s individual weaning journey and how many meals they are having at home. All meals are offered in line with our nursery menus and adapted to suit each baby’s stage of development. Alongside this, we carefully work around individual nap times and milk feeds to ensure continuity between home and nursery.

Nappies are checked and changed regularly using gentle, hygienic practices to keep babies comfortable and content. We provide formula for under-ones, support breastfed babies with expressed milk, and work closely with parents as babies progress through their weaning journey, offering a weaning menu and monitoring important milestones along the way.

The day is filled with rhymes, singing, stories and plenty of play (including lots of messy play!)
Babies explore a range of spaces such as our sensory room, soft play area, garden and Climb and Crawl gym, encouraging movement, curiosity and confidence as they grow.

Throughout the day, parents stay connected through our Famly App, where they can view updates on meals, sleep, nappy changes and see photos of their child enjoying their day.

We create a warm, nurturing environment that supports familiar routines and helps babies feel secure and settled. By home time, the children have explored so much, enjoying a wide variety of activities designed to engage their learning and support their rapidly developing bodies and minds, all within a caring, home from home environment.
